What Is A Text Message?
A text message is a short message that can be sent to and from a cellular phone. When someone says text, texting, or SMS, or if you see TXT in print, all of these are referring to text messages.

Are your recipients charged to receive text messages?
All standard text message rates apply. Charges originate from wireless carriers. Customers could be charged if they do not have text messaging included in their wireless plan. Most wireless carriers include text message packages with their service agreement.

How long can my text message be?
Text messages should not be more than 130 characters, including spaces. While text messages can be up to 160 characters, the coupon code and email address of the sender is included..

How long does it take for my text message to be received?
Messages are sent instantly, and are received instantly if the recipient's cell phone is turned on.

What can possibly go wrong?
Not much, actually. At first our biggest concern was the possibility of spamming, or someone submitting someone else's cell phone number. We have installed powerful security safeguards, including limiting the number of messages to a single phone number in a 24 hour period and other measures to defeat auto dialers and spam.

How often should I change my text message?
Change them as often as you like or create as many as you like. If you want to avoid changing the existing code on your web page, you can edit the text message in your Admin Panel. If you change a coupon, you can edit the Text Code and include it in your message, so you know what coupon your customer is redeeming.

How many text messages can I have?
You may have as many text messages as you want. Just create them all in the Admin Panel and add all of the codes to your web page.

How much does your service cost?
Our basic Text Message Marketing service starts at $500 per year. This includes an Admin Panel (see thumbnails above), where you can see and edit your recipient list, compose (or paste) the content of your message, and track your messages. You can create an unlimited number of messages, there is no additional cost to you per message or per recipient. You may use as many separate messages on a web page, or on as many web pages, as you want.

Do I have to have a Richmond Media website to use Text Message Marketing?
No, you only need a link to the keypad, any website that can be edited and updated can use our text message marketing system. The Admin panel provides a small block of code (much like YouTube) to be copied and pasted into the html code of your existing website.
