“What’s the difference between a budget website and a more expensive one?”
We want to make our budget websites look as good as our more expensive websites. We do that by limiting the user options to what is essential for the site to compete against more expensive websites. You’re not getting a $2000 website with all the bells and whistles, you are getting a website that does what you need it to do, and does it VERY well.
By setting feature packages for the different packages, it is much easier for us to create a site than if we had to customize the feature requirements. This allows us to spend more time on the things you need, like a great looking design, basic search engine optimization and functionality.
Are there any hidden costs?”
None. The only other cost you will have is buying your domain name and your hosting. That will cost around $100 per year, maybe a bit less or a bit more.
Can you build my website no matter what kind of hosting I have?”
No, because to keep costs down, we need a hosting provider that allows us to easily create your database. We recommend GoDaddy, mainly because we are very familiar with them, and can get things done very quickly.
But there are many others we can work with, including Host Gator, BlueHost, One on One, and others.
I have a SuperPages hosting account, can you build my website there?”
No, companies like SuperPages, Yellow Pages, VistaPrint and others are very difficult to deal with. They also make it very difficult to get your domain name away from them. Please contact us for options.
How do you build these websites so cheaply?”
We build WordPress content management sites. We have developed a method to build WordPress websites in a much more efficient way than most companies use. Most WordPress sites use a core set of plugins, and have other things that have to be done to any WordPress installation.
We built a very generic base website containing all of the standard things, then we migrate that to your server. Please note that this doesn’t affect the uniqueness of the design at all. Our steamlining is all in the back end.
“What if I buy a budget website, but after a while I want to upgrade to a bigger one?”
We will credit every dollar you paid to the cost of a more expensive package. And everything on your current site will migrate to your new site, so you don’t have to rebuild anything you already have.
Why don’t you let me choose from 1000 templates like other companies?”
Because websites age VERY quickly. Sites get wider, some video formats go out of style, browsers change, and mobile web requirements update often. If we developed 1000 templates, we would spend half of our time updating them. This is why it’s almost always a bad idea to go with a template website like that.
Chances are that the technology behind the site is old and obsolete. Plus, we don’t like the idea that there are hundreds of websites out there using your basic design. We will show you some samples, find out what you like, then we will create a design based upon your preference.
